Academics
Because spiritual growth is more holistic and less academic, learning at the Kanakuk Institute happens as much outside the classroom as inside. To integrate both: classes, projects, and Touch Point Groups are deigned to be beneficial to life after or outside of KI. Whether you inductively study 1 Peter, post blog-devotionals about finances and the Bible, or develop a Christian response to Hinduism, the goal is to learn in ways that are applicable to the “next stage” after you graduate from KI.
From classes to internships to belief statements, the learning experience is intentionally varied and constantly on the move, targeting the different learning styles and maximizing the eight short months of the Kanakuk Institute. This is not your typical college year. While the focus of the semester stays constant, the teacher changes every week and challenges you to go deep into your own study of God’s Word and practical living. Check out our Core Values for more on the philosophy behind all that we do.
