Classroom

The classroom is the main hub of Kanakuk Institute activity. Five mornings a week the student meet at eight o’clock for class. Each day is started with worship or a time of community prayer. During the year, speakers will come and teach on topics ranging from situational ethics to spiritual gifts, current events to world religions or study a book of the Bible verse by verse. Since the classroom is equipped with wi-fi, you can always find a student in the classroom catching up on JBU assignments, reviewing class notes, completing their inductive Bible study or working on a semester project. Even though the classroom is traditionally used for learning, many times a semester the students host movie nights and play board games in the classroom as well.
