We have just celebrated one of my favorite holidays of Valentine’s Day. Can I just tell you how fortunate I am to have the world’s greatest wife? We’ve been married 24 years and she is absolutely the apple of my eye and the love of my life. One of the things I’m trying to do every day is to become a better student of Karen and learn how to better meet her needs. I’m sure this will take me the rest of my life, but it will be fun growing old and learning how to love the one person God has given me to nurture and cherish all the days of her life. As I think about Valentine’s Day and watch television and movies, one of the things that hurts my heart is how many relationships are failing miserably, how many people are giving their hearts to other people without thinking of the consequences of who it hurts.
