John Brown University is dedicated to one thing: educating the whole person – “head, heart and hand.” JBU is a community of believers, all working together to develop the talents that God has given them to further His kingdom. John Brown University serves over 2,000 students from 49 nations and 42 states. JBU is a Christian university committed to providing quality academics within a distinctly Christian community. The university has no denominational affiliation and admits students of any faith. JBU is a vibrant and growing independent Christian university of the arts, sciences, and professions. Kanakuk Institute students earn credit toward a Master of Science or a Master of Business Administration degrees with John Brown University.
Each JBU master’s is a 36 credit hour degree. Students of the Kanakuk Institute who apply for and are accepted to JBU gain up to a third of their degree (12 hours or 6 hours for the MBA-IB) from the KI curriculum itself. The remaining 24 hours may be completed online. JBU classes are offered for 8 weeks twice a semester, so during your Institute year, you can take up to an additional 12 credit hours toward your degree online…meaning that, by the time you complete the Institute year, you will have completed two-thirds of your master’s degree.
Visit JBU’s website for further details regarding the master’s degrees offered through the KI/JBU partnership. If you have any questions, feel free to Contact Us or email JBU’s Kent Shaffer at firstname.lastname@example.org–who works primarily with Kanakuk Institute students. To apply to John Brown University’s graduate program, you will have to log-in with JBU and complete their Online Application.
