Why Donate?

Every year the Kanakuk Institute operates under the banner that biblical training should be available to everyone. We firmly believe that all believers should understand the foundation of their faith and should have the practical skills to apply faith to everyday life. In order to prevent tuition from being a reason for anyone to avoid attending the Kanakuk Institute, we offer a $10,000 work study scholarship to all students. However with an average of 60 students receiving the scholarship per year, KI operates on faith that God will provide the financial means to scholarship all the students and to make KI a success. For 10 years running, we have humbly seen the Lord move in incredible ways, using students, alumni, parents, and donors to meet nearly half of KI’s annual financial need. We are truly thankful for watching the Lord work and seeing how people like you are part of His plan.

If you feel called to support the mission of the Kanakuk Institute, then you can rest assured that your gift does more than simply meet a one-time need. Not only does your donation bring in some of the leading teachers in our nation to pour into and equip our students, but it also paves the way for our students to be challenged in truly understanding their faith so they can accurately and contextually apply the Word to life. When you invest into KI, you help equip 70 passionate, Bible-believing young men and woman to be influential leaders in the business world, in ministries, and in families world-wide. Your gift multiplies and impacts hundreds of people as the Gospel spreads and disciples are made.

How Can I Donate To The Kanakuk Institute?

Thanks so much for inquiring about the many unique ways that you can be a part of the Kanakuk Institute.  The Kanakuk Institute is a 501 (c)(3) organization that was established in May of 2001.  Approximately 40% to 45% of our program is funded through charitable gifts from individual donors.  The remaining amount is covered through student tuition which is $12,5000.  The actual cost per student is approximately $22,500.

Practically, you can donate toward two specific KI funds: 1) Scholarship Fund and 2) General Operations Fund. If you give toward the Scholarship Fund, your gift directly helps a student cover his or her tuition for the Institute year. However if you support the General Operations Fund, your gift is tax-deductible and help us cover the daily expenses incurred from meals, teachers, rent, etc. There are multiple different avenues of how you can give to the Kanakuk Institute.

  • One-time Gift (Donate Now)
  • Monthly Donation
  • Wish List Gift
  • Donor Advised Funds
  • Gifts of Stock
  • Charitable Remainder Trust or Annuity
  • Charitable Lead Trust
  • Gifts of Real Estate
  • Gifts of Life Insurance
  • Gifts Through Wills

Please visit our Donate Now page to give a one time gift or Contact Us for further information about any of the other ways to donate to the Kanakuk Institute.
