By participating in the Kanakuk Institute,

you can earn credits toward a Master’s Degree.

While many students choose to attend the Kanakuk Institute independent of the academic partnerships, students will graduate with free transferable credit to each of these schools if they choose to use it in the future.

John Brown University

Students who complete the Kanakuk Institute will be granted six to twelve credit hours toward degree requirements, depending on the academic program.

Classes from JBU are available online and may be taken concurrently with the KI year.

*Students enrolling in the John Brown University Master’s Program are also eligible to receive student loans for their entire tuition (including KI’s $12,250 cost).

Southern Baptist Theological Seminary

Institute graduates may continue their education at SBTS through our partnership program earning up to 24 hours from their time at KI. Southern now offers several degrees completely online. Students are able to graduate from the Institute and transition immediately into their career while finishing their degree online.

Dallas Theological Seminary

Dallas Theological Seminary grants advanced standing to Kanakuk Institute students who demonstrate current competency normally gained through the DTS curriculum. Advanced Standing is a curricular adjustment based on a student’s demonstrated competency. This can expedite your seminary education and reduce cost. The number of hours granted are based on which degree plan and location.

Southeastern Theological Seminary

Prospective students have much to look forward to at Southeastern. KI graduates receive up to 18 hours toward their degree.
