By participating in the Kanakuk Institute, 

you can earn credits toward a Master’s Degree.


While many students choose to attend the Kanakuk Institute independent of the academic partnerships, students will graduate with free transferable credit to each of these schools if they choose to use it in the future.

Southwest Baptist University

Southeastern Theological Seminary

  • 18 hours are applicable to any SBTS master’s degree program

Dallas Theological Seminary

Dallas Theological Seminary grants advanced standing to Kanakuk Institute students who demonstrate current competency normally gained through the DTS curriculum. Advanced Standing is a curricular adjustment based on a student’s demonstrated competency. This can expedite your seminary education and reduce cost. The number of hours granted are based on which degree plan and location.

Southern Baptist Theological Seminary

Institute graduates may continue their education at SBTS through our partnership program earning up to 18 hours from their time at KI. Southern now offers several degrees completely online. Students are able to graduate from the Institute and transition immediately into their career while finishing their degree online. Email for more information.
